"Let's Go Safe Sex Shopping!"
Lesbians, AIDS, Safer Sex
On Our Backs was a lesbian erotica magazine published from 1984 to 2006 that featured articles and photography on lesbian sexuality. Billed as the magazine for the "adventurous lesbian," the publication was a direct response to anti-pornography positions in the feminist movement.
The article overall frames lesbians as a low-risk group, but advocates and demonstrates the use of gloves and dental dams.
