This pocket-sized comic from GMHC was part of a series aimed at encouraging safer sex practices through eroticizing condom use. These comics were distributed to GMHC clients and at bars in the New York City area. Senator Jesse Helms (R-NC) later circulated copies of the comix on the floor of the US Senate as part of an attack on sexual health education aimed at gay men. In 1988, Helms sponsored an amendment to an omnibus appropriations bill that prevented federal funding for any AIDS education materials that "promote, encourage, or condone homosexual sexual activities."
