"This brochure will teach you how to reduce your risk of getting HIV and other STIs. Many people already have safer sex to protect themselves and their partners from unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Safer sex is about what you do, not who you are. HIV is spread through blood, semen (cum), vaginal fluids and breast milk. Some STIs, like herpes, can spread through skin-to-skin contact, including areas not covered by a condom."
